Kitchen cookware pans
Kitchen cookware pans, glass cookware or a baking cookware set for your kitchen can help you making your cooking and baking jobs much easier. As you know, things are always easier when you use the proper tools and cooking in the kitchen is no different. The right kitchen cookware tools just make the job easier.
Kitchen cookware is something that comes in all kinds and styles. You can get Farberware cookware, Calphalon Cookware or just a plain pots and pans kitchen cookware set. No big brand name needed.
It comes in glass, steel, ceramic, copper, aluminum, clad, cast iron, enamel coated and about everything else you can think of. We’ve come a long ways since people used to boil water in bark containers or gourd pots.
Obviously you need a good set of pots and pans or you won’t be cooking to much unless you have a BBQ grill. So the first thing you have to decide is what kind of kitchen cookware do you want? For me it depends on what I’m going to use it for.
For most baking cookware I like glass, pyrex specifically. However for cakes I like metal, aluminium cookware, best. I like the glass stuff for pies and for making meatloaf. I like metal for most everything else with the exception of ceramic bakeware.
When I was married my wife had a set like this and she loved it. The nice part was heating individual servings up in the smaller ceramic cookware. It was just so handy to take it from the fridge and throw it in the microwave. This is one of the cheapest bakeware sets I’ve seen. It’s got almost everything you need except a cookie sheet.
19 Piece Ceramic Bakeware Set with seal tight lids It’s a good deal so if you have the time check it out.
I do have a metal pizza pan that I never use as I discover a piece of aluminum foil under the pizza works just as well. As for baking cookies. I always use a metal cookie sheet. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything but metal cookie sheets. The work good for making ribs in the oven, too.
You can also get glass cookware sets of pots and pans, including frying pans. I tried some of it a long time ago and didn’t like it. It burned in places and didn’t heat in others. It could be that I just never used it long enough to get used to the glass pots and pans but I went back to my aluminum and cast iron pans really fast.
Kitchen cookware comes down to pretty much a personal choice. What you grew up with or what your friends have recommended. I almost always recommend cast iron and, if not that, then nonstick cookware. For somethings I like nonstick pots and pans but not for everything.
Anything that’s a big mess to cleanup I want Silverstone or T-fal or other non stick pans. Making popcorn balls and melting marshmallows in a cast iron pan doesn’t make for an easy cleanup nor does making homemade fudge.

Silverstone 13-pc. Cookware Set like this one will take care of the majority of your cooking needs as far as pots and pans go.
For frying meat or things that have to be in the oven a long time I like cast iron dutch ovens and frying pans. Cast iron frying pans help brown meat so it gets a nice color to it instead of being gray. I don’t like eating gray food. If it’s meat, it’s supposed to be brown on the outside. You’d be surprised at the difference in the taste between brown and gray.
I’ve never had any farberware or calphalon cookware. Heh, I haven’t ever had much name brand cookware unless it’s cast iron. I’ve never used any waterless cookware either.
Like I said before, kitchen cookware is a personal choice. My cousin and I don’t use the same kinds but the food we both cook tastes pretty much the same. Buy the best cookware you can afford and then don’t worry to much about it. After you get a basic set of kitchen cookware you can add the individual pieces you need in what ever type you prefer. There’s no law that says all your kitchen cookware has to match.
