I have quit smoking regular cigarettes using the electronic cigarette. I absolutely love it and don't know what I would do without it. My house no longer smells like smoke and I feel so much better!! I recommend the Joye 510 model. I love it because I can fill the cartridges myself over and over again, so they are cheaper than the ones you buy that force you to buy their cartridges. I have saved a ton of money using the 510. If you're thinking about trying them, stop thinking and do it. It will be the best thing you've ever done for yourself and those around you. It is a miracle product.

I appreciate your review of the EnlightenNext article which I also read. I agree with most of your interpretation but differed in one aspect. When you say that the Golden Age is assured, I wonder if this is true? My sense of connecting to this knowing that you speak of is definitely one of absolute conviction and confidence in the future and yet what you say about following through and taking action IS critical and I believe that even then we can't say for sure that at least for us humans in this lifetime there is any assurance of a 'Golden Age'. And if the future is indeed uncertain, then all the more reason and urgency for us to get connected, stay connected and act from that perspective that Cohen and Wilber were expressing. But maybe I misunderstood what you mean by 'Golden Age'?

This is a a little wierd as I have the same problem at c6 and 7. I also have pain and a numbness in my left arm, wrist and fingers and my leg doesn't always do what it's supposed to. I refused the operation way back in 1980 as the odds of success were only 33% it would get better, 33% it would stay the same and 33% they might make it even worse. I decided that 1 out of three chances of making it better wasn't worth it.

I've never had a dream where I drempt of my own death. Kinda wish I would but that's a different story. I really don't know what to tell you. I know if I was going to take a trip and I had a precognitive dream that the plane crashed I wouldn't be on that plane. It's a very serious surgery and from what I understood when they explained it to me even 1 little slip could have left me dead or paralyzed. I wasn't willing to take that chance as I could and do live with the pain and the annoyance it causes.

I know the Canadians are doing differrent things for this type of problem and you might want to check to see if there are any other options available. I'd be scared too. All I know is if I ever dream of my death I am going to do everything in my power to avoid the situation I died in, in the dream.

If you really believe you are going to die in the surgery you have a tough choice to make. I guess it all comes down to if you can stand the pain and the limitations not having the surgery. Heh, I'd double or triple my life insurance if I was having it. I hope it all works out well for you which ever decision you make.
