Natural ways to help improve memory loss
When I first became interested in ways to improve memory, a lot of my friends thought it was pretty lame. I guess I can’t blame them – I have had some pretty strange obsessions. Natural ways to improve your memory is a pretty practical area of study, but some of the previous ones were not so practical.
I am interested, for example, in developing extrasensory perception. I have always liked trying to improve my mental powers, but this time I was being pretty practical about it. I wanted to improve long term memory.
There are so many things that I learn and quickly forget. Sure, I can study for a test, but as soon as it is over, I forget most of the things that I learned. I figure that there must be some ways to improve memory that could help me with that.
Unfortunately, the first way to improve memory that I tried seemed like a dead end. I was getting really into supplements at the time, thinking that I could solve all of my problems with pills. There are many ways to improve memory with pills, but none of them seem to work that well. I tried ginkgo, vitamin B, and many other supplements, but none of them really helped. Finally, I resigned myself to the fact that I would have to work a little bit harder than that. The ways to improve memory that really work require you to put in some effort.
I got several books of ways to improve memory out of the library. A lot of the exercises were pretty obvious, but nonetheless it was nice to have a program that told you what to do.
Basically, the best ways to improve memory are to exercise it. Just like anything else, memory is a skill that can be exercised. If you read a lot, study a lot, and pay attention to what is going on around you, your memory will get stronger.
If you let it sit for too long, however, it will get weaker. One of the best ways to improve memory is to get yourself interested in whatever you are trying to remember. I would say that at least 60% of memory has to do with interest. If you are excited about something, you are much more likely to remember it than if you’re bored by it.
