Positive and Negative Thoughts
Did you know that just the way you talk to yourself in your mind can have a huge impact on your life?
I know that seems hard to believe but it’s true. When you talk to yourself in a negative way things that you don’t want to happen are highly likely to be what happens to you.
When you talk to yourself in a positive way and expect positive things to happen that’s what will more than likely happen.
I know that seems quite simple and to easy to be true but it does work. I’m sure you’ve heard of self fulfilling thoughts and this is what’s happening in your mind.
For instance, if you say, ‘I don’t want to be poor’ you are saying something in a negative way and your subconcious will focus on the ‘want to be poor’ part of that and do it’s best to make that happen.
Like me, I’m sure you know a ton of poor people who don’t like being poor. However if they want that to change they need to start talking to themselves and thinking in a positive manner.
Just changing that negative thought ’I don’t want to be poor’ to a positive thought ‘I will have more money than I need.’ is enough to change your life for the better.
Funny isn’t it that such a small change could make such a big difference. Try it out for 30 days and see what happens. Instead of saying what you don’t want try saying what you do want.
It’s not just about money tho. Change your whole mind thought process to positive and you will be much happier and healthier, in my opinion. You see, I never, ever say ‘I don’t want to get sick’ but instead say ‘I want to be healthy at all times’.
It’s much easier to attract what you do want than it is to push away what you don’t want. Stop trying to push away things with your mind and thoughts and start trying to attract what you do want.
Look at it this way, if you pull a 10 foot rope along the ground it follows you very well but if you try to push that same rope it doesn’t work near as well, gets all balled up and it’s so much harder to get it to do what you want.
Your mind and thoughts work in a similar fashion and it’s much easier if you talk to yourself in your mind in a positive way.
If you want to have a better life, think positive.
