Speeding up time
Is speeding up or slowing down time even possible? Obviously the answer to that one is yes. Everyone who read science fiction knows that and anyone who has every studied physics or serious mathematics knows that.
However that’s not what I meant. I meant when time is passing so slowly, at some boring event or circumstances, that 2 minutes seems like two hours. Speeding up time would then become the thing to do.
You should be thinking here of the perceptions of time. That’s what makes two minutes seem like forever and sometimes 2 hours seem like 2 seconds. Time either has wings or seems stuck in the mud. Neither is always satisfactory but it’s always your perceptions.
Now imagine, if you had this seemingly mystical quality, how you would use it and for what. Would you only use it when you were bored or would you use it when you were having fun too? How you would use it opens up all kinds of interesting possibilities but I’m going to leave them up to your imagination or save them for another day.
This is what worked for me when I had a really, really boring job. It also happens that at that time I was doing a lot of reading about the subconcious and perceptions. Lol, I had to have something to think about.
The job was a no brainer and I’d look at the clock every 5 minutes thinking that at least an hour had to have gone by. No such luck.
So I thought about it for a few days and decided to work out what I needed to tell my subconcious to get it to change my perceptions of time. I simply told it ‘Subconcious I command you to make every minute feel like it’s only been 10 seconds’ and it worked. Of course I had to do it about once an hour but it did work.
Try it, it might work for you too because it is just your perceptions of what’s happening. If you change your perception of what’s happening, essentially you change what’s happening.
