The secret, daily positive affirmations and mind power

What are affirmations? Affirmations are things you say to yourself that are designed to help you make it to your goals. When you use them long enough affirmations will change your way of thinking because they sink deep into your subconscious and change your belief system. That’s mind power.

One of the most famous affirmations is “I am getting better and better, everyday, in every way.” The power of just saying that to yourself several times a day is amazing. The power of all affirmations is amazing.

You see, affirmations are designed to change your subconscious mind in a way that has a positive affect on you. What you think and believe is what limits you, if you think negative, and, what raises you to where you want to be, if you think positive.

Now once again, this is not new age mind power crap but something that has been around for thousands of years. Even in the old testament, in the Bible, it says, As a man thinkth, so he is. Pretty simple isn’t it? What you think you are, you are.

What kind of affirmations do you need? A prosperity affirmation, a self help affirmation, self esteem or an affirmation of personal development or growth? There are affirmations for everything you can think of and for everything you could want.

If you want a definition of affirmation this is the one I use when talking to other people. An “affirmation definition” is a positive assertion that a statement or judgement is true.

Now if you tell yourself something is true, often enough, your mind will believe it and work at making what you believe to be true, come true. Simple enough isn’t it? The hard part is that you have to do it everyday. More than once. Two or three times per day is good and you have to do it for at least 30 days. Personally I recommend you do it until you’ve received what you have affirmed.

Some for attracting money into your life could be “I attract money at all times.”, “A river of money flows to me.”, “I am a money magnet.”

The other thing I might add is that positive affirmations work to get you what you want, negative affirmations bring you what you don’t want so always state your affirmations in a positive way. Instead of saying “I don’t want to be broke” you could say “I prosper at everything I do”. See the difference? One says what you don’t want to be and one says what you are or what you want to be.

So make sure you always keep your affirmations positive and make sure you state them as if they’d already happened. All I can say is if you do your positive affirmations daily, they will work.
