Transcendental meditation and meditation techniques

What does transcendental meditation mean to you and have you ever tried any meditation techniques. I’m sure you’ve tried both transcendental meditation and at least one of many meditation techniques. You just think you’ve never tried meditation because you don’t know what it really is.

I’m also sure that when someone says transcendental meditation to you, you think of someone sitting cross legged on the floor chanting Om over and over again. That’s the thought that most people have of meditation but that’s just one of many meditation techniques.

If you’re old enough to remember when the Beetles started singing you probably remember the fact they got into transcendental meditation as an alternative to drugs. Transcendental meditation was started by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi who taught the Beetles meditation
techniques he had learned. I still remember all of the news reports about it.

Transcendental meditation really caught on when people figured out meditation techniques could quickly and easily do away with many of the stress symptoms people had. Meditation is one of the quickest and easiest techniques for destressing that’s ever been found. Also one of the cheapest as it doesn’t require you to spend any money to learn to do it.

When you practice meditation your blood pressure drops, breathing slows down, your heart beats slower, your brain waves change and you feel much more relaxed. This has been scientifically proven and the results are reproducible.

Other studies have shown that people who meditate have hearts rates that recover quicker and they also recover from the stress much quicker than their non meditating counterparts. These are just a few of the reasons you should practice transcendental meditation or learn some meditation techniques.

One of the easiest things you can do in meditation is create a affirmation that you repeat several times a day. If you have trouble keeping your work up to date or are falling behind you can tell yourself things like “I always finish my work easily and on scheduled.” or “I always have enough time to complete my work.” and just say them several times a day. Just that little bit will take a lot of stress of your shoulders.

There are many other things you can do such as just sitting in a quiet room, in a recliner or other comfortable chair, take deep breathes and just focus on your breath going in and out for about 10 minutes. Just the quietness and the relaxation caused by focusing on your breathing will help you relax and be less stressed.

You don’t have to tie yourself up into knots, sit in weird or painful positions or spend 25 years studying with a Himalayan monk to do very well with meditation. Anyone can meditate and get good results.

If you think you could use a bit of help I recommend this place Help with meditation techniques as it’s not to high priced and it works. It’s cheaper than a visit to the doctor and you can try it for 60 days and if it doesn’t work they give your money back.

While your at that link sign up to get the free 10 minute demo and try the demo for a week and see if it helps you learn to relax and de-stress. If it does go for the full version. For me the 10 minute free version did wonders so go give it a shot and see what it can do for you.

Give these transcendental meditation techniques a try and see if they work for you. If the meditation works you’ve saved a ton of money and have a better and happier life.
